What is Microblading?
Microblading or 3D eyebrows is a semi-permanent makeup technique using strokes to mimic hair within the existing or non-existing brow. The customized pigment is deposited into the epidermis using a fine blade to create hair strokes to enhance your eyebrows.

Amanda will analyze your current eyebrows, and together you will decide which microblading technique or techniques are best to create the perfect eyebrow shape for your face. The various techniques include: simulating hair strokes with a 3-dimensional effect, microblading, or creating a soft, powdery eyebrow effect.

Once you have approved your design, your color will be custom blended using the highest quality D&C and FD&C-certified approved pigments and dyes for cosmetic topical use. The superior pigment lines used, heals and stay and age truly to color.

The Microblading Process
The eyebrow process begins with a prescription topical numbing cream. We apply to the area for approximately 15 minutes. Amanda will work with you to create the perfect eyebrow shape for your face. Once you have approved your design, your color will be custom blended using the highest quality D&C and FD&C certified approved pigments and dyes for cosmetic topical use. The superior pigment lines used, heals, stays and age truly to color. We apply the pigment using the latest in European acupuncture technology, or a blade. The entire process takes approximately 75 minutes.

A second session will be required 3-6 weeks after the initial session. At this session, we will fine-tune the color and/or shape. The color will fade/soften anywhere from 30% to 50% or more after each session. Healing is different for each individual and we do not have control over your body’s healing process. A color boost or touch-up will also be required every one to three years to maintain a fresh, natural appearance.

PERFECTING SESSION
Each Semi-Permanent makeup procedure will come with a Perfecting Session. This is included in the cost. This must be completed within 4-6 weeks of the original treatment. This is extremely important to ensure the best results. LAVISHiBROWS is a two-step process and the Perfecting Session is necessary to set the shape, and color and make any small adjustments if needed. Generally, the results are excellent but certain areas may not hold up during the first session and will need to be refilled. Individuals with oily skin often require a deeper shade during this time as the oils tend to lighten the pigment at a faster rate. Pigment color may need to be adjusted, and brow thickness and more strokes can be added at this time.
** PLEASE NOTE Clients are completely responsible for scheduling their perfecting session in advance and I recommend that you do that before you leave the studio.
PROCEDURE PROCESS
WHAT HAPPENS DURING A LAVISHiBROWS PROCEDURE?

I will first explain in detail all the steps for this procedure and answer any questions you may have. I then take photos of your before look. Your brow hair grade and color will be analyzed, and the desired shape is drawn on with a special marking pencil. I will draw each strand to create a symmetrical, natural-looking brow that is custom made for your bone structure, giving you the chance to see how dramatically new brows change your face. Once you are satisfied with the shape and thickness, we consult on color and then mix and match with the hue to ensure I get a shade that is closest to your natural hair color. (I will note the formulation, for future touch-ups)

We apply a topical numbing cream that stays on for about 20 minutes. We use a special tool to make small hair-shaped incisions in the skin underneath the brow. This technique is Microblading. We fill the shallow cuts with the highest grade FDA approved pigment approved for cosmetic use. In addition, all my tools are single-use and discarded after each LAVISHiBROWS procedure. I will also discuss aftercare, how long it takes the skin to heal and how to ensure the best results for your new brows!
