Christina Hensley
My journey in the healthcare and wellness fields has taught me that healing is uniquely personal. Before becoming a Licensed Massage Therapist, I was passionate about creating and holding space for those on their healing journeys, whether emotional or physical. This passion has now evolved into a mission: to help my clients not just survive, but truly thrive.
My path into healthcare began in 2012 in Chattanooga, TN, where I worked as a first responder and ER technician. Recognizing my dedication to uplifting those in need, I was promoted to Patient Experience Coordinator. Witnessing the struggles of patients and their families inspired me to transition to the wellness side of healthcare.
I moved to Florida, where I discovered massage therapy and embarked on the journey to become a Licensed Massage Therapist in 2021. I quickly realized that helping clients relax was one of my greatest gifts. Over time, many clients came to me seeking solace during times of grief, prompting me to explore massage therapy specifically for grief. This led me to the Institute for Grief Massage, where I became a Grief Massage Practitioner in early 2024.
During my preparations to start my practice, I experienced a profound personal loss with the passing of my mother. This loss deepened my understanding of how grief manifests in our bodies and underscored the importance of self-care during such times. I’m honored to provide a space where you can relax and heal, whether you’re coping with loss, navigating major life changes, or dealing with anxiety and depression. I am also pursuing certification in Trauma-Informed Massage to further support those in need.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, exploring the great outdoors, hiking, and traveling. I’m passionate about animals and particularly love dogs, especially rescue pet. I’ve shifted from living for each day to cherishing each moment. I look forward to meeting you and supporting your journey to healing.
